The Vice - President Attends Class of 2011 Graduation at FM

It has been the tradition of Vice - Presidents to attend the Graduation ceremonies at F-M every year. Vice - President Soltani attended the Graduation Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2011. Among the graduates were the sons of some of the Vice - President's friends. Sons of Dr. Boroujerdi (Director of MESSA, Prof. of Political Science), Dr. Bashiriyeh (Prof. of Political Science, Known Iranian Scholar, "father of Democracy in Iran") and Dr. Shukri (Neurologist).

Class of 2011 graduation ceremony was held Friday, June 17, at the Onondaga County War Memorial. There are 380 graduates in F-M’s Class of 2011. Traditionally, the senior with the highest grade point average is asked to speak during the ceremony. This year, that student was Xiyu Wang, who plans to attend Yale University in the fall. Other speakers included Superintendent Corliss Kaiser, High School Principal Ray Kilmer, Senior Class President Andrew Fieschko, and English teacher Ben Clardy, who the students selected to speak.
